Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by Central Government
• Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University. • Equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government is also acceptable. • Candidates possessing professional qualifications such as Engineering, Medical, Chartered Accountancy or Cost Accountancy are eligible. • Final Year/Final Semester candidates may apply provisionally but must produce proof of graduation on or before 30 September 2026.

The SBI PO Preliminary Examination is conducted online and consists of three sections. Candidates are given separate timing for each section. There is no sectional cut-off in the Preliminary Examination. Shortlisting for the Main Examination is done based on category-wise merit prepared from overall marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination.
