Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: MBBS Degree. Postgraduate Degree/Diploma (MD/MS/DNB or equivalent) in the concerned specialty as per the latest National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines. Updated Medical Registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the concerned State Medical Council covering all post-MBBS qualifications. Candidates without updated registration must produce proof of having applied for registration. Special Note (ICU): In the absence of eligible postgraduate candidates, MBBS doctors having 2 years of experience, including 1 year in ICU/General Medicine/Emergency Medicine/Casualty/Anesthesia from a Government or Private Hospital (excluding private clinics), may be considered as Non-PG Resident for one year.
Educational Qualification MBBS Degree from a recognized institution. MD/MS/DNB or equivalent Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in the relevant specialty as per the latest National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines. Medical Registration Updated Medical Registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the concerned State Medical Council is mandatory. Candidates awaiting updated registration must submit proof of having applied for the same. Special Provision for ICU If suitable postgraduate candidates are unavailable, MBBS doctors with 2 years' experience, including at least one year in ICU, General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Casualty, or Anesthesia from a Government or Private Hospital (excluding private clinics), may be considered for appointment as Non-PG Resident for one year.
