Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: Full-time regular AICTE-approved Diploma in the relevant Engineering discipline.
Process Technician (Chemical) & Process Operator/Operator (Chemical) Full-time regular AICTE-approved Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology. Minimum Marks: General/EWS/OBC (NCL): 60% SC/ST/PwBD: 50% Minimum 1 year relevant post-qualification work experience or apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in Refining/Petroleum/Power/Lube/Petrochemical/Fertilizer Industry. Technician/Operator (Mechanical) Full-time regular AICTE-approved Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum Marks: General/EWS/OBC (NCL): 60% SC/ST/PwBD: 50% Minimum 1 year relevant experience/apprenticeship. Engineering Industry of repute is also considered. Technician (Electrical) Full-time regular AICTE-approved Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electrical Power System / Electrical Engineering (Industrial Control). Minimum Marks: General/EWS/OBC (NCL): 60% SC/ST/PwBD: 50% Minimum 1 year relevant experience/apprenticeship. Engineering Industry of repute is also considered. The Computer Based Test will consist of 100 objective-type questions carrying one mark each. The examination will be conducted only in English and no negative marking has been prescribed. Candidates shortlisted through the CBT will be called for the qualifying Skill/Proficiency Test.
Syllabus
The Computer Based Test comprises Domain Knowledge (60 Marks) and General Aptitude (40 Marks). The aptitude section includes English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness & Current Affairs. The Skill/Proficiency Test is qualifying in nature and is conducted only for candidates shortlisted after the CBT.
