Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: Engineer posts – Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized university; Assistant posts – X Std. (10th pass); all posts require minimum 10 years post-qualification experience in the relevant marine discipline
Only Ex-Indian Navy and Ex-Indian Coast Guard Personnel possessing the required educational qualification and relevant marine experience are eligible to apply. Candidates currently working as Production & Commissioning Engineers or Assistants on the rolls of CSL as on the notification date are not eligible. Production & Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university/equivalent + minimum 10 years post-qualification experience in operation and maintenance of marine equipment and systems. Production & Commissioning Engineer (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university/equivalent + minimum 10 years post-qualification experience in operation and maintenance of marine electrical equipment and systems. Production & Commissioning Assistant (Mechanical): X Std. (10th pass) + minimum 10 years post-qualification experience in operation and maintenance of marine equipment and systems. Production & Commissioning Assistant (Electrical): X Std. (10th pass) + minimum 10 years post-qualification experience in operation and maintenance of marine electrical equipment and systems. Production & Commissioning Assistant (Electronics/Instrumentation & Controls): X Std.
