UGC NET Answer Key 2026 (June Session)

The National Testing Agency (NTA), on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC), is expected to release the UGC NET Answer Key 2026 for the June session on its official website. Candidates should compare their recorded responses with the official answer key and calculate their estimated marks according to the prescribed marking scheme. Each correct answer carries two marks, and there is no negative marking in the UGC NET examination. If candidates find any discrepancy in the provisional answer key, they can submit objections through the online challenge facility available on the official website. The objection fee is ₹200 per question, and payment must be made online. Candidates are required to upload valid documentary evidence supporting their claim. The objection fee is refundable only if the challenge is found to be correct after review by the expert committee. Objections submitted through email, post, or any offline mode will not be accepted. After the objection window closes, subject experts appointed by the National Testing Agency will review all valid challenges. If any objection is accepted, the provisional answer key will be revised accordingly. The final answer key will then be prepared and used for the evaluation of candidates' responses and the declaration of the UGC NET June 2026 result.
