Introduction Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (RFCL) has released its much-anticipated recruitment notification for 2026, inviting applications from experienced professionals across multiple disciplines. Formed as a joint venture between National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), Engineers India Limited (EIL), and Fertilizer Corporation of India Limited (FCIL), RFCL operates a large-scale natural gas-based Ammonia and Neem Coated Urea manufacturing facility at Ramagundam in Telangana. Through Advertisement No. Rectt/01/2026, dated 26 August 2026, the company has announced 40 vacancies for roles such as Engineer, Officer, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, Additional CMO, CMO, Accounts Officer, and Chief Manager. This recruitment drive is aimed squarely at candidates who already possess post-qualification, hands-on industry experience, making it a notable opportunity for mid-career professionals in the chemical, engineering, HR, medical, finance, and IT domains. Vacancy Overview The 40 notified vacancies are distributed across 15 distinct post-and-level combinations. The Chemical discipline accounts for the largest share, with 12 Engineer (E-1) posts, 4 Assistant Manager (E-2) posts, and 2 Deputy Manager (E-3) posts. The Mechanical and Electrical disciplines each have 3 Engineer (E-1) vacancies, while the Materials function has 4 Officer (E-1) posts and 1 Assistant Manager (Transportation) post at the E-2 level. The Human Resource function offers 1 Officer post along with 1 Officer-Secretarial post, both at E-1 level. On the medical side, there is 1 Additional CMO (E-4) vacancy and 1 CMO (E-5) vacancy. The Finance & Accounts stream carries 3 Accounts Officer (E-1) posts, 2 Assistant Manager (E-2) posts, and 1 Chief Manager (E-6) post, while Information Technology has 1 Engineer (E-1) vacancy. Most positions will be based at the Ramagundam plant in Telangana, though a handful, including the HR Officer and Chief Manager (F&A) roles, are earmarked for the Corporate Office in Noida. Eligibility Eligibility for each post in this recruitment is closely tied to both educational qualification and years of relevant, post-qualification executive experience. Technical posts such as Engineer (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or IT) require a relevant engineering degree, while Materials and HR-related posts accept an MBA or equivalent postgraduate diploma. Finance & Accounts posts are open only to candidates holding a CA, CMA, or an MBA with a Finance specialization; general or dual-specialization MBA holders are explicitly not eligible for these roles. Medical posts require an MBBS degree, with postgraduate qualifications like MD or MS considered favorably. Across all posts, RFCL has clearly specified that experience must be genuine, post-qualification, in-line executive experience — training period, apprenticeship, or contractual assignments through third-party agencies do not count. The eligibility cut-off date for qualification, age, and experience is fixed at 31 July 2026. Age Limit The maximum age permissible varies by post and seniority level, calculated as on the 31 July 2026 cut-off date. Entry-level Engineer and Officer posts (E-1) cap the age at 30 years for Unreserved category candidates, while Assistant Manager and Deputy Manager posts allow up to 40 years. The Additional CMO and CMO medical posts permit candidates up to 45 years of age, and the Chief Manager (Finance & Accounts) post at the senior-most E-6 level allows candidates up to 50 years. Standard age relaxations apply for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), persons with benchmark disabilities, and Ex-Servicemen, though the combined effect of all relaxations cannot push any candidate's age beyond 56 years. Salary RFCL has structured its compensation on the 2017 IDA-based pay scale, positioning it competitively within the fertilizer and chemical manufacturing sector. Pay ranges from ₹40,000–₹1,40,000 per month at the entry E-1 level to ₹90,000–₹2,40,000 per month at the E-6 level, with corresponding approximate annual CTC figures rising from around ₹14.20 lakhs to nearly ₹31.95 lakhs. Beyond basic pay, the compensation package includes industrial dearness allowance, additional allowances equal to 35% of basic pay, house rent allowance or company accommodation, contributory provident fund, gratuity, performance-related pay, a defined contribution pension scheme, and comprehensive medical and insurance coverage. Medical Officers additionally receive a non-practicing allowance equivalent to 20% of basic pay. Selection Process The selection journey begins with a thorough screening of all submitted applications against the advertised eligibility norms. Candidates who clear this screening are provisionally shortlisted and invited for a Personal Interview. Should the number of eligible applicants for any post be exceptionally high, RFCL has the discretion to introduce a Computer-Based Test, conducted in Delhi-NCR or other identified cities, purely to narrow down the interview list. At the interview stage, candidates are required to secure a minimum average score of 50% to remain in contention. Following the interview, RFCL undertakes detailed verification of educational certificates, experience letters, and category-related documents before finalizing the selection. Application Process Interested and eligible candidates need to complete a two-stage application process. The first stage involves registering and filling out the application form online through the official RFCL website, uploading necessary documents, and paying the prescribed application fee where applicable. Once the online form is submitted, no further edits are possible, so candidates are urged to review all entries carefully beforehand. The second stage requires printing the submitted application, attaching self-attested copies of all relevant certificates, and posting the complete set to RFCL's Corporate Office in Noida within the specified hard-copy deadline. Applications lacking proper documentation, received after the deadline, or sent to an incorrect address are liable to be rejected outright. Important Dates The recruitment notification was released on 26 August 2026, with the online application process opening the same day at 08:00 hrs and remaining active until 24 September 2026 at 17:00 hrs. Following the online submission, candidates have until 1 October 2026 to ensure their hard copy application reaches RFCL's Noida office, with an extended deadline of 8 October 2026 granted to candidates residing in officially recognized far-flung regions of the country. Conclusion The RFCL Recruitment 2026 drive presents a solid career opportunity for experienced professionals across engineering, materials, HR, medical, finance, and IT fields who are looking to join a growing public sector joint venture in the fertilizer industry. With competitive pay scales, a structured selection process, and postings available at both the Ramagundam plant and the Noida corporate office, candidates meeting the specific qualification and experience benchmarks for their chosen post are encouraged to review the complete official notification on www.rfcl.co.in and submit both their online and hard-copy applications well before the respective deadlines to avoid last-minute complications.
