The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RRB JE CBT-2 Answer Key 2026 for candidates who appeared in the Computer Based Test-2 conducted under Advertisement No. CEN 05/2025. The provisional answer key has been published for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) posts. Candidates who participated in the examination can now download the provisional answer key, individual response sheet, and question paper through the official RRB login portal. The RRB JE CBT-2 examination was conducted on 2026-07-02 across various examination centres in India. The provisional answer key and response sheet were released on 2026-07-10, enabling candidates to verify their recorded responses and estimate their expected scores before the declaration of the final result. Since the answer key is available through the login portal only, candidates must sign in using their Registration Number, Password or Date of Birth, and Captcha Code to access their response sheet and answer key. The Railway Recruitment Board has also activated the online objection facility for candidates who find discrepancies in the provisional answer key. The objection window opened on 2026-07-10 at 09:00 PM and will remain active until 2026-07-17 at 11:50 PM. Candidates can raise objections against individual questions by selecting the relevant question, uploading valid supporting documents or proof, and paying an objection fee of ₹50 per question along with applicable bank service charges. The payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking. If an objection is found valid after verification, the objection fee will be refunded after applicable deductions. The individual response sheet released along with the provisional answer key contains the candidate's responses, official answers, question IDs, selected options, and question status. Candidates should compare every response carefully with the official answer key to calculate their tentative score. The examination consisted of 150 questions carrying 150 marks, with one mark awarded for every correct answer and one-third mark deducted for each incorrect response. After the objection window closes, the Railway Recruitment Board will examine all valid objections received from candidates. Subject experts will review every challenge before preparing the final answer key. If any objection is accepted, the necessary corrections will be incorporated into the final answer key, which will form the basis for evaluating candidates and preparing the CBT-2 result. However, the official release date of the final answer key has not been announced. Candidates are advised to download the provisional answer key only from the official RRB login portal, verify all answers carefully, preserve their response sheet and objection receipts, and regularly visit the official RRB website for updates regarding the final answer key, CBT-2 result, and further stages of the recruitment process.
