Nationality Candidate must be a Citizen of India. Candidate must be able to speak Manipuri or any of the Tribal dialects of Manipur. Candidate must be a Permanent Resident of Manipur. A candidate whose parent or any ancestor in the direct lineage is a permanent resident of Manipur is also eligible, subject to submission of documentary proof. Educational Qualification Candidates must possess: 10+2 (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks from a recognized Board/University; or 10+2 (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002. D.Ed. in Special Education from an RCI-approved institute with a valid RCI CRR Number; or D.El.Ed. with a recognized Certificate/Diploma through an RCI-approved institution equivalent to D.Ed. in Special Education, with a valid RCI CRR Number. Six months training in teaching in the cross-disability area of inclusive education (where applicable as specified). Must have passed TET-1 conducted by the State Government or any other agency approved by NCTE.
