Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: Anganwadi Karyakarte (Worker): Minimum PUC (Pre-University Course) pass with Kannada studied as the first or second language in SSLC. Anganwadi Sahayaki (Helper): Minimum SSLC or equivalent pass with Kannada studied as the first or second language.

Only women candidates are eligible to apply. Women belonging to linguistic minority communities are also eligible. Candidates must be residents of the concerned village/Gram Panchayat (rural) or ward (urban) where the Anganwadi Centre is located. Residence must be supported by a valid certificate issued by the competent authority. For centres vacant for three years or more, residents of the concerned taluk are also eligible subject to submission of supporting documents. Anganwadi Karyakarte: Minimum PUC pass with Kannada as the first or second language in SSLC. Anganwadi Sahayaki: Minimum SSLC or equivalent pass with Kannada as the first or second language. Candidates possessing D.S.E.R.T.-recognized ECCE Diploma, JOC, NTT, Diploma in Nutrition, Home Science Certificate Course or Nursery/Pre-Primary Teacher Training certificate relevant to Anganwadi activities will receive preference and bonus marks for the Karyakarte post.
