Qualification: PG Degree / DNB / Diploma in Relevant Specialty OR MBBS Degree with A.P. Medical Council Registration
Civil Assistant Surgeon Specialist: Must possess PG Degree / DNB / Diploma in the concerned specialty or equivalent qualification included in Schedule I & II of the MCI Act, 1956. Must be registered with Andhra Pradesh Medical Council. Civil Assistant Surgeon General: Must possess MBBS Degree from a recognized institution.
